Reminicing......

ok I think thats how you spell it but you get the idea, right?

I am just in awe that I am going to be the mother of a 4 yr old! Where did all that time go? It seriously feels like we just brought her home to our house in Mather and were a new family of three. Riley Ann is such a beautiful, fun, happy and sassy little girl. Getting her here was not an easy task but I would do it all over again. She is perfect and such a joy to be around. She loves being a big sister. She follows me around all day with her "babies" and feeds them, changes diapers, puts them ni-nite as I do with Ireland. Her and Trevor could play all day long. She is stubborn like both her parents :) but is always thinking and caring about others! I know she is going to have a blast at Disneyland and I cant wait to see her in her full Minnie dress running around, laughing and having the time of her life!

I love you Riley and you will always be our baby girl!

Pink Eye...

yep..Ireland has it!! I swear this baby girl is being hit with everything and not getting a minute in between.....she is still the happiest baby ever throughout it all! She woke up 2 days ago with a little crustiness in her right eye and I just watched it all day. Then the next morning and yesterday she woke up and they were almost closed together! I knew it right then.....so we got her eye drops and she is no longer contagious after 24hrs. but you have to do the drops for 7 days. So as if I dont already do enough washing, cleaning and disinfecting I have to do even more all over the faucets, door handles, toys...anything that could come in contact with it! I soooo hope none of us get it!

Oh and this background is perfect for me because I LOVE my flip-flops!!

Yummy Recipe!

I found this recipe and had to try it. I love porkchops and this was delicious...the kids ate their entire plates and Zach had a ton and wanted more!

Creamy Ranch Pork Chops and Rice
Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time: 25 min.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 boneless pork chops, 3/4-inch thick
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular, 98% Fat Free or 25% Less Sodium)
1/2 soup can milk
1 pkg. (1 ounce) ranch salad dressing mix
Paprika
Rice

Directions:
Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until it's well browned on both sides.Stir the soup, milk and 1/2 package salad dressing mix in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the pork is cooked through. Sprinkle with the paprika. Serve with the rice.(and make sure you spoon the sauce over the rice!!!)

Ranch-Style Rice: Add the remaining salad dressing mix to the water when making rice. Serves 4.
TIP: Serve with your favorite frozen vegetable blend. For dessert, serve chunky applesauce topped with cinnamon.

If you want to make it healthier, I used Light Ranch, fat free milk and you can also use brown rice. This was seriously so easy and delicious!!

Daddy and baby

We had a wonderful Easter this year. Not only did we have 3 little bunnies to share it with, it was also Ireland's very 1st Easter! We started off the day at Gramma and Papa's house. They made a very yummy brunch that everyone enjoyed. Riley and Trevor even helped Papa cook! Then we all had to find our hidden Easter baskets...and yes I mean "all" of us :) Then we went outside and Riley and Trevor went on an easter egg hunt which they loved and did not want to end. Trevor was so cute, as he was searching for the eggs he kept calling out for them, "eggs, eggs!" "Like where are you?" Afterwards, we went over to Nana and Grandpa's house for a delicious Easter dinner. We had a honeybaked ham, potatoes, green bean casserole, hot crossed buns, oyster casserole, and rolls only to top dinner off with wine, coconut cream pie, carrot cake and razzleberry pie. Needless to say we left there very full. The weather was so perfect so we actually ate dinner outside in the sunshine by the pool...how fun is that? The kids loved their HUGE easter baskets and goodies. We are very lucky to live the life we live and grateful everyday for our family!!

9 Months Old Already?!

Wow....I can't believe our little girl is already 9 months old. Feels like yesterday we had just brought her home. She had her well baby check-up today and she is one healthy and very happy princess!

She weighed in at 17lbs. 70z and is 27" long. She is still in the 20-21st% for height and weight but Dr. says she is just petite like her sister and everything is proportionate and shes right on track. Ireland has no teeth yet but he checked thouroughly today and thought we might get a couple all at once as he thinks they are on the verge of breaking through...oh that will be a fun day/night for mommy and daddy :) She is sitting up on her own and rolling around everywhere. Riley and Trevor taught her to clap last week and now she imitates everyone who claps or if you say "yay!" she will automatically start clapping. She, along with Riley and Trevor, light up our lives and we couldn't imagine life without her!

Yucky Expenses!

I had to get 4 new tires on my car yesterday an oil change and an alignment. I do NOT enjoy spending lots of money on things like this, I know who does, right? but still......yes, my tires were very bald and I hadn't had an alignment in probably 2 years but I'd much rather spend that kind of money on a trip, the kids or stuff for our house :(
